We are a unique conference and events venue situated in the idyllic Waihi countryside.

Nestled in the heart of nature, our expansive grounds offer a peaceful escape for those looking to unwind, reflect and recharge.

From conferences to school camps to wellness retreats, our multipurpose spaces are well designed to support a wide range of community and educational activities for people to connect and collaborate.

We can cater for groups of 10 to 240 people and meet all your accommodation and catering needs with our onsite dormitories and large cafeteria.

Classrooms

We have eight spacious, light-filled classrooms perfect for classes, seminars, training, and workshops, all with high-speed WiFi and flexible layout options.

Conference & Meeting Rooms

We offer a range of meeting rooms for board meetings, seminars, training, and workshops, plus a large conference room seating over 200 people.

Accommodation

Host your multi-day event with ease—onsite accommodation includes two large dormitories for up to 240 guests, plus single, ensuite, and accessible rooms, all with shared laundry, bathroom, and social facilities.

Cafeteria

Our large cafeteria seats up to 240 guests, with onsite chefs and a commercial kitchen to create custom event menus. View our sample menu here.

Outdoor

Waihi Academy sits on six hectares of landscaped grounds and all guests and visitors can enjoy lots of outdoor adventures. Feel free to use our walking tracks, mountain biking trails and visit the nearby lavender farm. We also have big sports fields and an outdoor basketball court.
