Classrooms and meeting spaces
We offer eight spacious, light-filled classrooms and flexible meeting spaces ideal for classes, presentations, seminars, training sessions and workshops. All spaces include high-speed WiFi and can be arranged in a variety of layouts. View layout options
Conference rooms
We offer versatile conference spaces suitable for seminars, workshops, training sessions, board meetings and large-scale events. Our flexible rooms can accommodate small groups of up to 60 people and larger gatherings of up to 150 people. View layout options
Accommodation
We make it easy for you to have a relaxing experience when you host a multi-day event with us. We can offer onsite accommodation with two large dormitories that can accommodate up to 240 people.
The bedrooms come furnished with study tables and chairs and shared facilities include laundry, bathrooms and social spaces. We also have single, ensuite and accessible bedrooms available to choose from.
Exhibition Hall
The Exhibition Hall is an expansive and versatile space can be used for expos, conferences and community events. It seats up to 400 people.
Cafeteria and dining hall
We have built a large cafeteria and dining hall that can seat up to 240 people. With onsite chefs and a large commercial kitchen, we have the flexibility to work with you to design custom event menus.
Catering
We take pride in sourcing fresh, local produce to provide you with nutritious and delicious food options when you’re here with us.

At Waihi Academy, we’re always looking for ways to reduce our environmental impact and to help lower our carbon footprint, we’ve designed our menus to be vegetarian and/or plant-based.
Outdoor facilities
Waihi Academy sits on six hectares of landscaped grounds and all guests and visitors can enjoy lots of outdoor adventures. Feel free to use our walking tracks, mountain biking trails and visit the nearby lavender farm. We also have big sports fields and an outdoor basketball court.
